The blue color looks even better than in the photos
Facial recognition works great even in the dark. Similarly, photos in the dark are significantly better than previous versions
I really like the privacy feature, I don't need to hunt for privacy film. This feature also has the advantage that the phone does not dazzle others in the evening.
The phone no longer has rounded edges. In the first models it was cool but basically useless, now it is possible to apply protective glass to the entire display.
Phone is super fast, everything runs smoothly
Overall, I am extremely satisfied, excited: -)
After switching from the S23 Ultra, I regret the lack of a true 10x zoom (only calculated)

I switched from an older model (S23+) and chose the Ultra variant this time mainly because of the higher quality camera and so far I'm happy. I would appreciate similar features in a smaller phone size so that it is easier to operate with one hand. Unfortunately, the phone is constantly forcing AI. I'll probably have to get a different case, because the simple Samsung case doesn't compensate for the protruding camera lens when you put it down and the phone "swings". The purple color is beautiful, but it still hides behind the cover (even behind a transparent one, it doesn't stand out as much). It's a pity that mobile phone manufacturers today are not more inventive when it comes to appearance.

I switched from the S22 to the S26 Ultra and you can really see the difference. The camera is great and allows you to shoot in LOG. The AI features are really useful and even fun in places. Privacy Display can be useful in public, although it works best only in extreme mode. The only downside is that the phone is bigger and heavier. Overall, though, I'm really happy with it.

I've been using the phone for a week and I'm totally happy with it, the performance it has exceeded my expectations and the privacy protection I found stupid is a thing I use all the time now, it's not that you can't see anything at all, but for a stranger to read what I'm doing they would have to be so close I would break their jaw because it's invading my personal space. Ignoring the price after all a premium model will have it premium so it's the best phone I've had so far. How is the battery after some time of use I will be able to evaluate after a longer time but currently lasts about 1-2 days from 100% to 0 in normal use.
Privacy new feature really works, can't see what I'm doing over my shoulder

I have been using the phone for a short time, but I can already say that I am really happy with it. I switched from an older Samsung and stayed with this brand mainly because of the environment I'm used to and also because of the S Pen, which I use more often than I originally thought. Great display - it's big, beautifully bright and has perfect colours. I often edit photos, read or watch videos on my phone and it's a real pleasure to use a display of this quality. The phone is bigger, but I personally like it. The camera is a plus, of course. I take photos quite often and I love how the phone handles lower light or zoom. The photos have nice contrasts and colors that look good. The performance is absolutely smooth. The phone responds quickly, apps open instantly. I also like the various features, such as modes and routines, that I use to automate certain things. Overall, the phone strikes me as a really premium device. The price is admittedly higher, but if someone wants a high-end phone with a great display, camera and S Pen, I think they'll be as happy as I am.

The return to Ultra after a year-long test of Fold 7 was a success. The new Ultra 26 is an absolutely fantastic piece of equipment that has totally delivered what I expected from it and there is even a little something extra. The display is absolutely superb - the sharpness, colour rendering, maximum brightness and smoothness are unrivalled and a pure joy to look at. As a user, I very much appreciate the advanced privacy features, thanks to which I have my sensitive data under detailed control and no longer worry when you need to open banking, etc. - yes, it could be solved with a glass slide, but it is forever breaking, if Samsung lives up to its words about the strength of the new display, so in this area is won. The cameras are a separate chapter, producing literally perfect photos in all lighting conditions, with amazing detail and sharpness. The overall craftsmanship is premium, the phone handles great and feels incredibly sturdy and exclusive, even better than the S24 Ultra I had before the Fold 7.

I don't know yet if 4K 60 fps and 8K also support HDR 10+ (metadata), otherwise as expected.
Privaci display, faster charging, new video formats AVP, LOG
7-year support, (the Chinese don't really give that).
Compared to older generations, the S Pen no longer has BT.

I bought the S26U as a successor to my Note20U which I can't get enough of, unfortunately the camera has gone. Samsung has finally pulled out a new color though it could be more distinctive. The camera is great, especially the zoom and super steady mode in video. Privaci display looks better in videos than in real life. It's more likely to attract attention than to keep anyone from seeing what I'm doing. Too bad that samsung again put a lot of emphasis on AI.
Cameras
Display with new feature (albeit quite a gimick)
Spen doesn't have bluetooth again
Memory card slot is missing
The design is again away from the classic square shape of the previous Note and Ulter series
3 AI assistants annoy you when you turn it on

I had a Samsung Galaxy Note20 phone that I still thought was pretty decent, I used the S Pen and notes on it a lot. The difference in photo quality and editing capabilities using AI tools is truly abysmal. With the S26 Ultra, I have no need at all to download and pay for additional apps for photo editing, image generation, etc. I find the S Pen a bit more responsive, it's just a shame that the S Pen's connection to the phone via bluetooth has disappeared. The creative studio is also a blast, especially generating images directly from sketches. Privacy display so far I will use minimally, but I can imagine situations when I will be glad to have this feature on my phone, it works very decently. The design is nicely processed and looks good. I'm a bit bothered by the protruding camera lens when putting the phone down and it could have had a better front camera, otherwise I really have nothing to fault the S26 Ultra.

I bought the **Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 512GB** right after its launch, and I have to say that after two years with my good old **S24 Ultra**, it's a really noticeable leap forward - not revolutionary, but in key areas a very nice upgrade that you feel every day. I still get the biggest wow effect from **photo camera**. The main 200MP sensor has been given a f/1.4 aperture (compared to f/1.7 on the S24 Ultra) and the difference is really visible. Night photos are cleaner, have less noise, better detail in the shadows, and colors look more natural without Samsung overdoing it into overly saturated tones like before. **Nightography** is on a whole different level now - when I shoot in the city or at a concert in the evening, I get images that look like I'm carrying a full-frame camera with good glass. Also, the 5× telephoto lens (50MP) now has a brighter f/2.9 aperture, which means sharper zoom shots in low light and more pleasing bokeh in portraits. The ultra-wide angle lens has remained the same, but with better AI processing and a newer processor, it has less aberrations at the edges and better color consistency with the main sensor. Overall, I think the S26 Ultra is one of the best cameras on the market right now - consistent, versatile and clearly outperforms my old S24 Ultra in low-light scenes. The **processor performance** is another area where I feel a huge difference. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (the "for Galaxy" version) is a monster. Apps open instantly, multitasking with 10+ windows in DeX mode runs absolutely smoothly, and games like Genshin Impact or PUBG at maximum details run stably at 120 fps without any jerking or overheating. With the S24 Ultra (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3), I felt heating and occasional frame drops after a long gaming session - here it's gone. Benchmarks show roughly a 35-45% increase in both CPU and GPU performance, and the NPU in particular is much faster, which is evident in AI photo editing, real-time translation or content generation. 16 GB RAM (in my case) makes the system extremely responsive even under brutal load. And **system speed**? One UI 8.5 (built on Android 16) runs like butter. Animations are even smoother than on the S24 Ultra, scrolling is velvety, and touch response is instantaneous. The optimization is at such a level that even after a week of use, I don't feel that the phone is slowing down - unlike the S24 Ultra, where after a year and a half I already notice some micro-lag here and there. The speed of opening apps, switching between them and the overall "fly" feel is noticeably better. Add to that a slightly better anti-reflective coating on the 6.9″ display (almost no glare outside) and a lighter design (214g vs. 232 g for the S24 Ultra) - the phone feels more comfortable to hold. All in all - if you have an S24 Ultra and are happy, you don't necessarily need to upgrade right away. But if you want the best camera, brutal performance and a truly lightning-fast system in 2026, the S26 Ultra 512GB is worth it. For me, definitely the best phone I've ever had.
Processor, camera and system speed.
Nothing yet.
