While the maximum brightness is slightly lower than last year's S25 Ultra due to this layer, I think it's an acceptable tax for more privacy in public. The battery with a standard capacity of 5000 mAh handles the daily load without any problems, although I would welcome a switch to more modern silicon-carbon technology for such an expensive model from a large manufacturer in the future. The only real frustration from everyday use is that the massive camera module gets in the way when trying to attach the wireless MagSafe powerbank to the back of the phone. Despite these minor compromises, it is an absolutely top smartphone that I can only recommend.

Privacy Display is an interesting novelty on paper, which prevents bystanders from reading the screen. In practice, however, it brings a trade-off - viewing angles are visibly worse than standard AMOLED displays and colours fade more than I would expect from a premium device when viewed from the side. The resolution when Privacy mode is active is also less sharp. Overall, it is a good phone without serious weaknesses, but also without a significant "wow effect". Those upgrading from the S24 Ultra or S25 Ultra probably won't feel much difference. But for new users or those coming from another platform, it's still one of the best options on the market.
