Since I'm switching to the Samsung Galaxy S26 from the Samsung Galaxy S8, the difference in the quality of all the parameters of the new phone compared to the old one is marked. The mobile phone responds to touches and instructions, and the fingerprint scanner works seamlessly. It has excellent sound, a nice display and natural colours in photos. So far I don't feel that it is getting significantly hot, only time will tell if the new Exynos 2600 will prove itself in practice and under long-term load. One of the reasons why my choice fell on the basic Samsung Galaxy S26 was its smaller size. It holds nicely, the edges are optimally rounded, it is lightweight. Last but not least, I rate the colour cobalt violet as very subtle and successful. The ability to get a higher memory capacity for a lower price is an excellent (and expected by buyers) marketing ploy, which I of course took advantage of.

The transition from the S25, the intergenerational shift is minimal, enough power, whose increase is not noticeable during normal activities and most other parameters have remained unchanged compared to the predecessor, which is probably most disappointing for the cameras, which have been basically unchanged for several generations, the absence of magnets for connecting accessories is also disappointing, in this generation I was already expecting them, so hopefully we will see in the S27. What's pleasing, on the other hand, is the larger memory capacity for almost the same money (using the pre-order, 512GB versus last year's 256GB). Overall, a nice evolution.

I'm switching to the Galaxy S26 after 8 years from the S9+ and the difference is incredible! Even though it has a large display, the whole phone is slightly smaller and lighter than the S9+, it feels great in the palm of your hand. The purple color is very nice and luxurious in real life. I'm thrilled with the lightning speed, interesting AI features, and most importantly the action on 512GB memory. For owners of older models, this is the perfect upgrade: )

I'm switching from the S23 and I know that nothing will surprise me unpleasantly with a new phone. The reason why I still stick with Samsung is that they are one of the few manufacturers to produce a supercharged phone with a reasonable 6.3" diagonal. (I just don't want a big paddle. )On the photos there is a size comparison. The S 26 looks bigger in the pics, but the differences are subtle, some like the width of the body. when held in the year exactly the same. Colour-wise, the S26 Cobalt Violet is more interesting. The only thing that bothers me is that Samsung is still riding the same wave, without much innovation and a bit behind the competition, instead of coming up with something new as one of the market leaders. But on the other hand, the quality of processing, excellent display, system stability and overall alignment of hrdware - the software is great and everything runs as it should without choppiness and even though the initial investment is greater, the phone also keeps pace with its competitors in this regard thanks to the quality of update support.

My expectations from the Samsung Galaxy S26 were not very high. Every year I change my phone for a new generation and last year I was using a Samsung Galaxy S25, so I was rather expecting only minor improvements. This is exactly what was confirmed - the changes are not revolutionary, but the phone as a whole is very good. The color Cobalt Violet is actually better than the photos.

After a few years of using the S23, I decided to upgrade to the new Galaxy S26. I have to say that my first impressions are positive, but there are a few things I regret. The phone is very pleasant to the first touch, the design is good and feels a little lighter, which I definitely appreciate when carrying it in my pocket all day. You can feel the new processor immediately - everything is lightning fast, apps open right away and nothing crashes. I'm curious to see how it will maintain this performance after a year of use, when I overwhelm it with a bit more data, but so far it's great. The big plus for me is the battery. Compared to my old S23, the endurance is a level up. Finally, I don't have to look for a charger in the middle of the afternoon and the phone can handle a busy work day without stress. I was also pleased to see that Samsung has finally moved a bit with the charging speed. It's no longer the wait it used to be, although the competition is still a bit further along in this. What disappointed me, however, is the lack of something like MagSafe. For a phone at this price, I find it a shame that the manufacturer did not use the available technology and did not give us magnets directly into the body of the phone. Having to deal with special covers is an unnecessary complication. As for the camera, the photos are top notch, but I honestly don't see a huge leap forward. In recent years, Samsung has been tweaking the details of its cameras rather than coming up with something groundbreaking. The AI features right in the phone are fine and sometimes useful, but for the high price I would have expected more innovation in the hardware. Overall, this is a great phone for someone transitioning from an older piece because the speed and endurance are great. But if you're looking for a revolution, this is a rather hilarious evolution.

I'm switching from S22. I didn't feel like it, but I don't regret it. The phone is just great. It's just that some unnecessary concessions are disappointing. Why doesn't the classic S26 have the features from Ultra (privacy display)? I don't want such a big phone, so the S26 is the only possible choice. Unfortunately, it's going to get harder and harder for Samsung to sell its non-ultra flagships to mainstream users, because the competition is a little further away. Where is the silicon-carbon battery? Where is the faster charging? Why the optics from S22 again? It's slowly wearing off on me. Why didn't I buy a Xiaomi 17? Because it's not Samsung. And I'm a Samsung fan and will defend it against iPhone users and anything else. Samsung has come a long way from the derided TouchWiz, and its current One UI is one of the best graphical superstructures of Android. In addition, it has exemplary and unrivalled software support. I'm happy. The speed and fluidity of the system is amazing. The fingerprint reader is very fast and placed in the right place - neither too far down nor too far up. I can't judge cameras objectively because everyone likes something different. I prefer natural color rendition, though it's not very insta-friendly for most people. I'm not really a photographer, so I'd settle for just two lenses like the S25 Edge has. I appreciate the larger battery capacity. I use the loud speakers only minimally, but you can immediately tell that the sound is much richer. Vibration response has also improved noticeably. I'm very curious to see if Samsung will bring any major cross-generational improvements next year. He should. But I'll still be a fan of the brand. Mostly because I used LG phones for a long time and after they were discontinued, Samsung was the best alternative.
Premium workmanship
Compact size by today's standards
Loud speakers have been improved
System fluidity
Exemplary system support
Fast fingerprint reader
Classic S26 models are a bit neglected compared to the Ultra - new dinkce are missing
Does not use a silicon-carbon battery
Optics from S22 again, that's very bold
Charging could have been faster

I'm switching ob generation for the second time after 2 years from S24, before that from S22. The phone is a bit bigger, but if I hadn't looked at the specs, I wouldn't have noticed. But I wouldn't mind going the other way and shrinking the body. Weight the same even with a bigger battery - hope it proves a keeper in the long run. The photos look similar, after first tests I find less grain, they are slightly darker but more detailed. Right after booting and moving all the data from the previous phone, it vibrates like clockwork, without any lags.

After two years with the S24, I decided to upgrade and I have to say that even though it doesn't seem like it at first glance, the new S26 feels much more modern in the hand. The design is precise and the phone feels great in one hand. The system is perfectly fine-tuned and the camera has come a long way, with more detail and natural colours. For me, this is a hilarious upgrade for anyone who wants a reliable and fast phone in a compact body.

I was switching from the S10+, a little worried about the difference in phone size, but I adjusted pretty quickly. The transfer of settings went fine, including the settings for smart home control. I haven't been able to absorb all the options yet, but in terms of speed, it makes a noticeable difference. My only criticism would be that it's inadequate. I'd almost be afraid to say no selection of flip cases.
