I've been looking for a new phone for a long time, and my old one in the suburbs forced me to. I was switching from the Huawei P9 Lite 2017 so obviously a huge jump. I was a little worried about the size and always thought I would look for a smaller phone, but I was finally tempted by the plus size. Well design-wise there is nothing to complain about, I like the phone, it holds well, I have no experience with the previous model, so I do not evaluate the design jump / jump compared to the previous model. The photos seem to be definitely enough for me (I'm no photo expert), the smoothness of the phone is excellent. What I'm a little disappointed with is the battery. For being a Huawei switcher, I was expecting a bit more of a stamina bump. I know that in terms of processor performance, it doesn't even compare to my old mobile, but I would still expect it to hold a bit more with a 4900mAh battery. And I'm not a hardcore gamer or an avid videographer/photographer. I knew ahead of time about Exynos and about Snapdragon in Ultra, but I kind of didn't address it, Ultra seemed already useless to me (maybe this is too). It's not unfortunate, again, no, but I was expecting a little different stamina. I'm a bit scared, for example, with Bluetooth on in combination with positioning, but we'll see. I wonder how is the battery life of the ordinary S24 with a 4000mAh battery. What bothers me a bit are the problems with mobile internet (I move around and in Mlada Boleslav). The phone says that it runs 5G, but there are some problems, because it often happens that the internet goes quite slowly and I'm waiting for the loading of pages or videos in the meme application, this has not happened to me with Huawei and it was only LTE. I don't know if this can be addressed with an update or if it's just Exynos, which from what I've read is worse at 5G than Snapdragon. We'll see how Samsung will continue to tune the phones with updates. Anyway, the proclaimed 7 year support was one of the main reasons I picked up the phone.
