I'm switching from the Galaxy Buds2 after five years, which I got for free with the Galaxy A52s. At first glance, the new headphones look premium, with the metal surface of the feet giving them a sturdy feel. I appreciate the switch back to the original box. This time I took them in black, with the white ones I was afraid of the look of cheap imitation AirPods. Compared to the old headphones, they fit much better in the ears and also provide better passive isolation. ANC is a huge leap from the Buds2, this will be due to the design of the headphones themselves. You can hardly hear the low frequencies of the noise in maximum mode, the high ones are slightly audible, but this is due to physics - the sound of the surroundings when ANC is on can be most accurately compared to being underwater. It took me a while to figure out how to press the buttons on the feet correctly, you need to press the handset relatively hard for the gesture to register. The headphones are also very comfortable to wear, best done by pointing your feet so that they don't touch your ears. The only thing I didn't understand is the voice detection mode, which only activates when the person wearing the headset is talking - perhaps because of the noise in public transport. Overall, I rate the headphones very positively, unfortunately I can't compare them to the AirPods Pro 3 - I don't own them.

The controls are very nice, you just have to get used to it, but you don't have to tap the headphones anymore, just press/tap the headphone foot, a welcome change. More convenient to operate. Changing the plugs for a larger size was a bit of hell for me at first. After switching from Buds 2, where they are easy to remove and put on new ones, here there is a snap mechanism, one is so afraid of inexperience that the silicone will tear. But it takes a bit of willpower and a look at the video for Buds 3 and it goes just fine. Unlike the 2nd generation, the headphones have charging on the foot and the headphones fit into the box by themselves, so you don't have to spend half an hour checking if the headphones are charging or if there is a bad contact, which I found very irritating with Buds 2. In the long run, the transparent cover is nice, but it's probably nice to have some sort of case for it, because under the light on that top you'll see every print. But that's been the case with virtually all Samsung headphone boxes, so not much change, the transparent case looks rather the opposite more nice and futuristic, and its pros outweigh the cons from this point of view. Software features such as 360 sound, head rotation, etc. they work fine. The whole software superstructure is what the customer is used to with Samsung and there is no weirdness going on. Classic headset microphone, voice is clearly heard even in not too quiet environment. For those interested, Samsung has also retained support for reverse charging from the phone, so you can still put the box on a phone that supports this and charge it on the go in this form. Personally, the usb C port is more of a hindrance. But the headphones and the box are generally quick to charge, and the battery life, at least after that moment of testing, looks solid too.
