Hello, thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear about your experience. The E4 fault is a fault of the battery and associated electronics. Unfortunately Rowenta had a series of product where this error was. However, all models from this production series have been withdrawn from the market and the components replaced. You probably have a piece that was sold before this was resolved. It is definitely better to claim directly at Rowenta service where they will give you a new battery and replace the electronics with 100% working ones without this random E4 error. As for the mop, you definitely need to wet it under running water before using it and then put it on. It's in the manual.

Experience after less than 2 years, non-functioning motor, non-functioning mopping nozzle, disintegrating vacuum nozzle travel, disintegrating hose joint, disintegrating hepa filters. Rowenta is still making excuses and has not acknowledged the complaint about the mop not working, saying that no cleaning agent should be added, even though it adds agent on its instructional video.
