I highly recommend them, there is no need to deal with the sound system, they sound luxurious on their own and in games the surround sound is absolutely heaven and earth compared to the native Realtek ALC887, I heard a lot of extra details. I do not drastically recommend the headphones as they have a critical design flaw where part of the black plastic starts to peel off from the white surrounding structure which then causes the structure to crack. However, it's okay to complain. Since I had the Gold wireless headset on ps4 the surrounding structure broke there in 5 years, here in 7 and after a subsequent complaint in 4 months. So if you are an avid gamer, I would stay away from them, if you play maybe 2 hours a week, they will probably last you a long time.
