What I consider a disadvantage are the touch buttons, they do not work perfectly, they are probably very sensitive to the cleanliness of the touch surface, sometimes I turn it on until the fifth time, this is not very successful for me, here I would welcome if I could run the cleaning from the application. I wouldn't buy it for 8299, but if you catch a discount and can buy it for close to the lower model I guess it's cool. Otherwise, I don't see any extra added value except for the travel case, next time I would probably choose something more affordable and "dumber" because this toothbrush is not very smart from my point of view either.

After a few days of hesitation (because I didn' t find a review like this one), I finally bought the top Prestige board. And it was completely unnecessary. It all revolves around the app. I' m a developer myself and I enjoy this, but the application does not bring any benefit. On the contrary, I think that in the long term it will be a flurry. 1. I offer instructions that I asked once and I did not learn anything new. (After the DiamondClean experience, where these instructions were and are available on the Philips website. ) 2. Real-time tracking of the card position was fun for me only at first. I didn' t enjoy it the second time, because I didn' t learn anything interesting there. (If you already know how to brush your teeth. After all, it' s not a science after all.: )) 3. I was interested in data analytics, so after 3 weeks I reconnected the cards and the application to see what I would learn about my cleaning. Well, I found out that the card only remembers the dates of the last 10 days, so I throw away the rest and I see a hole in the calendar. The app thinks I haven' t brushed my teeth in days. I did not learn anything interesting from the saved data. Frequency (2x a day) and average time spent cleaning (2 minutes; if the regime has 2 minutes, then it' s probably useless to measure it, right? ). Then he applied pressure and a quick movement (only if it' s good - which the cardist told me straight away, so it' s not good for me to lead it back, I know it can' t be done). In short, data is very simple. (Again, it' s not a complete science after all, and it' s probably impossible to find out about it.: )) 4. The cleaning mode can only be changed via the application. Otherwise, no. But in the end it won' t be such a problem for me, after DiamondClean I found out that I still only use Clean for 2 minutes. I don' t have dental problems (unfortunately). If someone has, I can' t say if the application will help them. For me, almost a month' s experience with Prestige is a direct confirmation that we don' t need smart applications and data science for everything. Investing in Prestige (under my conditions) for the application was pointless if it was for the design - I don' t see how it' s pretty, though. it' s always just a card.: )) And DiamondClean looks great too.
