Purchased as a replacement for a similar product from the same manufacturer that I purchased about 10 years ago. However, it had a NiMH battery, which lost most of its capacity over time and the trimmer could only be powered from the mains. The battery could not be replaced (classic). To this, the "comb" broke later. The reviewed product already has a lithium battery which should hopefully last longer, it looks more robust overall and with the longer "comb" it can be adjusted up to 20 mm (not very usable in practice though). I originally wanted to buy a "one blade" planer, but I was discouraged by the need to buy new planers at a considerable cost. For a smooth shave, I stick with "traditional" mechanical shavers.
