If you're switching from a manual or older electric toothbrush, the Oral-B iO 4 is a big step forward. My previous ordinary electric toothbrush is not comparable to this model. Magnetic iO™ technology combined with oscillating-rotating motion and micro-vibrations provide a truly exceptional clean and polished feeling that is incomparable to conventional brushing. The toothbrush is comfortable in the hand, has a modern design and is significantly quieter compared to older Oral-B models. The biggest benefit I see in the Smart Ring, which signals the ideal pressure with a green colour and thus protects the gums from damage. The toothbrush can be connected to a smartphone app via Bluetooth. For the Series 4, the app primarily allows you to set the Smart Ring backlight colour. However, it should be mentioned that compared to the higher series, it cannot monitor the cleaning of individual teeth (oral mapping). Although it is the entry-level model in the iO series and has a few compromises, it offers excellent value for money and takes dental care to the next level.
