Unlike the heads, the process of pairing the thermostat and the gate/relay was quite easy, you just needed to keep the boxes close together. The signal reaches from the basement through 2 floors up to the attic, but with scratched ears and sometimes lost. Fortunately though, the relay is coming off the wall and hanging on cables probably has the antenna in a better position for reception from the upper floors, so I stopped gluing it back on: ) Unfortunately, you can't add another gateway (receiver for the heads from the Starter Pack) to the network to extend the signal. The wi-fi coverage is not enough, the devices have their own network and only the gateway/relay is on wi-fi. The cables to the boiler could be longer, but they are easy to adjust (as long as they are not stretched into the boiler's guts). I rate very positively the clear app, where you can conveniently program daily temperature profiles. It works well on mobile, even better on the web interface. Compared to other room thermostats, this one strikes me as a bargain until you start buying fairly expensive heads to go with it.
