I have an Octavia 4 that has a power option for the camera by the rear view mirror and the connector is USB-C. I bought the camera knowing that the camera has a USB-C power connector. I bought a shorter USB-C to USB-C cable for my camera so I don't have a meter cable flying around. After plugging in the camera didn't work and I wanted to return the camera, but when I tried the original cable with the charger to the ignition, the camera worked normally. After some research, I found out that this is caused by some resistors or something, which are not present in the double-sided USB-C cable. So I had to buy a small USB-C to USB-A adapter to get it to work the way I wanted. Just completely unnecessary and at the time of purchase it was not stated anywhere that the double-sided USB-C cable is not compatible with the camera.
