I would probably rate the camera as such with five stars. I find the video quality good, the angle of view is good too. Controlling the camera, either via the app or on the camera itself (both touchscreen or buttons) is simple, intuitive. I like the possibility to download the necessary video directly to my phone. I haven't had a chance to test the G sensor yet. I'm not sure if it works at all - I 'tapped', or imitated, the camera several times at once and nothing happened. A small disadvantage for me is the possibility of tilting the camera only up and down. Once you glue it to the window, you can't move it sideways. You can't rely on radar warnings. Compared to Waze, it shows about 60% of the radar. I give another minus point for the fact that the audible warning of speeding (quite loud and annoying) is inaccurate in the sense that it does not take into account the highest permissible speed in a given place, but only the speed measured by the radar. Example - if the radar is 100m behind the sign at the beginning of the village and you are still braking from 90km/h before the sign, it will be beeping at you several hundred metres ahead until you reduce your speed below 50km/h. But the sound warning can be switched off, so I don't see a fundamental problem. I would also appreciate the possibility to buy a cable that could be connected to the fuse box for permanent power supply. This would eliminate the need to plug the charger into the 12V socket before each drive (the socket in the Octavia 3 is still alive. After removing the key from the ignition, the slide does not switch off. There is a risk of the battery running out if I forget to remove the charger).

The camera has potential, but in practice it is really badly used. The start is quick, but you're immediately greeted by a loud and annoying sound that you can't change or turn down. This also applies to alerts - one single tone for everything. When you're driving in Prague, for example, the camera beeps like crazy and you don't even know if you've entered a section, are driving in it, or have exited it. Completely ill-conceived. Camera placement is another chapter. Because of the law, it's behind the rear-view mirror, but all the controls are via a tiny display. Just turning on Wi-Fi means practicing with the mirror and hunting for buttons by feel. Nothing can be set via the app. In addition, the menu is cluttered and looks outdated. Application? Old, poorly designed software. It doesn't fall, but it acts as a school project. The controls, the layout of the elements, the logic - it's all like 2010. I would expect more than a student level IT job. Video transmission is disastrously slow. The Wi-Fi between the camera and the phone runs at what I would describe as "bytes". A minute of video takes ten minutes to download. You'll never get a two-hour trip on your phone. Taking the card out and walking it to some reader in 2025? I really don't want that. The picture quality is decent, but the glare kills everything. It bothers me that you can't buy a polarizing filter. In the daytime, the video shows reflections of the deck and puddles. And that's a pity, because otherwise the picture would be quite good. I didn't realize this when I bought it until I saw the videos. The GPS is accurate and holds steady, the fit is also fine. But these are probably the only areas where the camera doesn't feel like a dud. Manufacturer support? Below average. I addressed continuous recording and G-sensor with them, but the answers were rather sub-par and not much help. I googled more useful information than I got from official support. Summary: This camera could have been great, but Navitel just didn't live up to its potential. Controls, software, sounds, apps - everything feels unpolished. I'm honestly sorry I bought it.
