The camera has no internal memory or battery. So if you don't have it connected in your car or at home via USB (why mini USB?! ), you don't turn it on, you don't set it. Some translations are of poor quality, for example, instead of "Starting to record" it says "Starting to record". Who sees it for the first time does not understand. Like, I'm supposed to start recording, turn it on somewhere, or what? The radar alert is nice, but it has 2 ways of being alerted. One is called "Intelligent" and that is not intelligent at all, because you know there will be SOME radar, but you don't know which one (red light detection? speed? sectional? ), so the notification leaves 2/3 of the screen free, but it is completely unusable. The classic alert will also show the radar type/speed measurement and is ok. The caution on cut-off radars nicely measures the average speed you have there, BUT again you don't know if it warns BEFORE the radar or already in the measured section. You only know that when you already know the camera well, that it shows the average speed in the section. It is not clear, unless you use trial and error, how to set the sound to make the camera squeal when the radar is approaching. Rather illogically, it's the same setting that turns on the keyboard sound. When you turn it off, the radar alert is silent. For no reason at all, the camera switches on a sort of "Crisis Recording" mode to record the accident in more detail whenever there's a major pothole or when you pick up the camera. The camera sometimes does not display the flashing "Rec" icon even when recording. The display could be finer and better quality. How much more expensive would the camera be if it had a better display? by 10 cents? Although I am listing mainly shortcomings, I would buy the camera again: -)
