Works well as a basic portable mouse, at least for a student with an iPad Pro
It is indeed very quiet. To the point that when initially testing it out I didn't know if I was actually clicking it, as it provides very little tactile feedback. It is a bit awkward but you get used to it.
It comes packed with a sleeve that I put the mouse in when I put it in my bag.
Tracking is fine on most surfaces, though it may not feel great on some.

The mouse to the laptop is absolutely sufficient, the advantage is that it is low and does not interfere in the bag. The instant connection, up to 3 devices, is a good bonus.
