I was the first to buy a car camera with a better recording method. After a few days of use, I can recommend it despite some " birth pains". You won' t find anything better in this price range.

Apart from the transfer speed and the application, it' s probably fine. The app is useless anyway, I can' t imagine using it realistically except to get a recording over WiFi. It was my first car camera so I have nothing to compare it to.

WiFi on the camera is useless. You will connect to the camera, but the transfer speed is slower than my internet connection. Downloading a 200MB video (which is 1min of 4K footage) takes over 1min. So it' s better to pull out the camera and connect it to the computer via USB-C, it' s a quick fix. Anyway, you CANNOT connect the camera with a cable and a mobile phone, which is a big minus (I can' t download recordings directly in the car). When connected on the PC, the connection dropped a few times (as if I was plugging and unplugging the cable) when I was looking at the logs.
The app is also useless, it has a map, but if you use navigation, you won' t use it. You can adjust the camera settings through it, but you can do that on the camera' s touch screen.
The automatic time setting is doubtful, the camera had 1 hour less, so that summer/winter time? So I set it up manually but I got it on about the 6th try because it wouldn' t save.
4K is only 30 FPS, but I went with it. But after stopping the recording, the image is legible and the license plate can be read just fine.
I would appreciate the transmission of the recording while driving via the WiFi so that I don' t have to take the camera home or wait in the car after the ride.

The video quality is really good for me (in the case of 4K). If you set 60fps, the quality is not that good (mostly it looks quite grainy). The sound compared to the Lamax T10 is already much better. So Lamax must have moved on. Although I was quite worried about the touch control while driving, the camera responds quickly and you can easily lock the footage against overwriting. But what really failed is the magnetic holder. The magnetic holder has a total of 3 protrusions on the magnets and attaching the camera to the holder is a superhuman feat. It is usually easier to remove the SD card from the camera than to remove the camera. As with all magnetic mounts, the camera cannot be turned sideways, so it is quite a problem if you have a bulging windshield.
