My iPad Air 2 from 2014 was already a bit old, although still fully functional, but the battery lasted only about two movies and some applications could not load due to the older iPadOS (mapy.cz, whatsapp. ) So I decided to upgrade to this iPad 2025. I was surprised by the slightly higher weight and thickness - while the Air was sleek, this feels like such a small tank. So be it. As I mentioned, the cheaper non-laminated display taps oddly when touched, which the Air didn't do. The display is fine, even in the sun I have no problem, although again, the old Air was a hair better. The new iPad, on the other hand, is significantly faster, which is pretty cool. Battery life traditionally great, I did not measure exactly, but two days with less load will give. I like that the display can be woken up by touch, I missed that on the Air. Then I just need to hold my finger on the fingerprint reader on the top edge and without having to press the button, the iPad unlocks. What I'm not so happy about is the strange GPS that shows 50 meters accuracy. It almost looks as if the iPad is estimating location by God knows what, and the GPS chip wasn't there at all - or it's deliberately made less accurate so the customer will spend money on the Cellular version. But this should be in the description. If you want to use this iPad for occasional navigation, forget it. As for the sound, I feel like my iPhone 13 sounds better, but don't worry, it can be done. But when I put a Samsung tablet for the same money next to it (Tab S9 FE, ) it's quite a difference in Samsung's favor. Overall, it is known that this is a cheaper tablet, although I have no reservations about the quality of the design, as well as the software from Apple, there is a standard high quality (of course nothing is 100%, ) but compared to Android I have a better feeling from the system and work on the device. I rather recommend buying this iPad. I'd give him 80 out of 100. I bought a U-close case for my iPad on Alza. A. G., which is designed for the previous generation, but fits this one perfectly.
