Intel ships this processor with absolutely insane frequencies and power consumption, some board manufacturers make it worse by not having the Intel limit set to 253W, but letting the processor eat even more.

Without tuning, it is extremely energy inefficient and overheats.

The processors really bend a bit without the mounting frame in the socket and the cooling gets worse - in certain places of the heatspreader, a too thick layer of paste is needed due to the bending of the processor. The mounting bezel is a necessity for clocking devices to improve cooling, it is not necessary in case of power limitation.

I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars mainly because the processor is just a material from the manufacturer to be tweaked and as it is set up, it seems unusable to me.
