I switched from the Garmin Fenix 7 pro - It's a great watch, but the look is a mess. It's an overpriced model and a lot of features I never used. The sensors didn't feel very accurate to me either. It doesn't even last very long - I scraped the titanium lunette after a week. It's nice that it has sapphire glass, but the lens looks like a pig: ) The GT 5s are great for the price, plus I picked them up with headphones. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable.

I owned a Huawei GT3, so I knew exactly what I was getting into. Personally, I prefer long battery life, a universal look and reliable notifications, which the Huawei Watch fulfills. After turning on all continuous measurement options and Always On (this option reduces the battery life by about 1/3), I still have 69% battery life after less than three days, which is a great result. The metal case is thinner/lower compared to other brands, and the look is also hilarious in the GT series. As far as notifications are concerned, the GT5 series has been given a full-fledged reply option, where you can finally use the virtual keyboard in addition to pre-made phrases. As such, notifications work seamlessly, and you can select which apps can send notifications to your watch in the Health app. Receiving a call on the watch (and calling 10 preset contacts) is standard, the other party does not know that the call is going through the watch. GPS connection speed is much improved over GT3, as is the speed of movement between screens and statistics. As for the ability to install apps, there are a small number of apps available, but only a few of them are usable: calculator, maps, spotify control, improved calendar. As a minor drawback, I would see the initial installation of the Health app outside the google store from the Huawei store, which can cause problems for ignorant users (or on the contrary, paranoid) and especially the inability to pay with the watch. The Polish representative office has now opened payments through a selected bank, but this option is not yet available here and I would certainly not count on it being available here soon.
