I switched from iPhone 11pro. The reason was that the new iPhones didn't appeal to me in any way and I simply didn't want the same thing for the next few years, it would be boring. Additionally, instructed by my partner's switch from 11pro to 14pro iPhone to the question, "so what's it like? I was a little worried about switching to android from what I used to hear compared to iOS, but today I have to say that android is totally fine and there is no problem with anything. As there's a lot of discussion about the processor being slow on the Pixels and it puts some people off, I don't really get it. I did try the phone out looked at the reviews and didn't find it lame anywhere. Plus, Google is targeting Apple customers and I don't suppose they don't know what they're doing and have blown it off. True, I don't play games, I use it more as a work and communication tool, and in this respect Pixel excels. The battery has held up perfectly so far, a day and a half to two under normal usage. The phone is gradually revealing its potential to me in many ways. Awesome display, top-notch keyboard, excellent camera, Ai circle to search and that google search window at the bottom of the display finally surpassed my fears and I use it constantly for quick web searches. Otherwise the size 9pro version is perfect for me. Nothing small nothing big, and the same volume control and sleep buttons on the right compared to the iPhone, it was no problem to get used to. So I evaluate the transition very positively and even beyond expectations. I don't miss the iPhone in any way and that was a concern when I made the switch, but after a week of using the Pixel I have to say that it's worked out well and the phone is fun and works great. Oh, and I welcome the finger opening of the phone compared to FaceID, an incredible advantage in practice.

Probably the only minus with this phone I perceive in the 128gb storage in the base, which I do not understand how it is even possible nowadays for such a phone (a little Apple style). The same applies to charging. They could have at least put 66W here, which even a lower mid-range phone has today. I was very afraid of the processor, but in the end I have to say that it was unnecessary. Yes, it can get hot under load at times, even though there is finally an evaporation chamber this year, but I have no problem with the performance as such. Games don't crash, animations are smooth, in short, despite the low numbers in benchmarks it is well optimized and I haven't had any performance issues in 14 days of use. And with the introductory price, it was a really great buy. But the full prize is a little harder to defend.
