I use the watch purely for sport, I don't wear it on a regular basis so I don't mind things like the display, the environment, etc. that really aren't "pretty", they really aren't for everyday wear for me, but that's probably not even their purpose. I had the lower model Forerunner 45 before and if you are hesitant, I definitely recommend paying the extra 1000 crowns. These have more training features etc, which I personally don't even care much about, but what you can really tell is the larger battery capacity. You don't have to worry about charging all the time, and they can handle a really long day trip, for example on a bike. Likewise, when you go somewhere for multiple days, you know they won't be nearly depleted after the first extended activity. With the old ones, this was a nuisance factor. But most importantly: it usually connects to the GPS almost instantly, whereas with the lower model I have often stood in the cold like an idiot and waited 5 minutes for the GPS. Ideal for an undemanding user like me.
