However, I didn' t read anywhere in the manual that after filling the ink, you have to press a combination of buttons so that the printer draws the ink and then you have to wait about 11 minutes: -) I recommend watching the ofiko installation video from Epson on YouTube. You will not receive a cable for the printer, luckily I found one at home, but if you don' t have one, I recommend adding one to the order. After many years, when the Canon printer with non-original cartridges for 20Kč served us perfectly, we had to replace the printer. Since I couldn't find an adequate Canon in stock at this price range, we reached for the Epson. Also, thanks to my habit of cheap paint, I liked the eco tank system. The first shock was that the printer does not have WiFI. Unfortunately, I didn't watch this and took it for granted. I hesitated for a long time whether to return the printer, but in the end I will try with the cable. Cable not included. Luckily I found one from a previous printer, but I believe a lot of people get caught up when they find out they have to go back to the store and buy a cable. It's not the money, it's the unnecessary complications. We use Linux. Drivers can be downloaded from Epson. They have how. Yeah. rpm package and they work fine. The scanner is worse. The built-in simple scan with Sane doesn't work and I had to install Epson Scan 2. It works, the app is pretty good, but I would prefer the built-in simple scan. Hopefully the community will eventually implement it. The color refill system is great. The printer prints well and quickly. It is quite noisy and the sound is choppy but fine. We only print docuemnts here, so I can't judge the quality of the print completely. There is no duplex printing, which is annoying but can be overcome. LCD display, CD printing, paper cassette, automatic door opening, all these are missing, but these are small things.
