I've been using the kettle for about a week now, but I've boiled water in it about 30 times, so I'm posting a review from that experience. I bought it as a kettle to heat water to the desired temperature for pouring my teas. However, I was also looking for something with a nice design so I could have it on my desk next to my tea "tools". I haven't found anything similar in this price range - maybe something around 4000 CZK. Although the kettle shell heats up to quite a high temperature I am able to remove the lid without difficulty or fear of burning myself. Someone mentioned that it's not suitable for Gong Fu (Eastern style) tea - I don't entirely agree. It is true that once you remove the kettle from the base, it "forgets" what temperature it was set to. But for me, I simply set it up again and start heating. The way it works for me is that I pour my tea, put the pot back on the stand, set the heating and reheating (with three presses of a button), and go sip. Then I come in and the water is still at the desired temperature. If you don't want to deal with this, just pour the water into a thermos: ) I haven't measured the accuracy of the set and actual temperatures yet - maybe I'll get to that later. But the teas taste good. Someone also mentioned a minus in the form of water heating speed - so for this review I measured it: water up to MAX (600 ml) heated to 100 °C in 4:46. Personally, I don't mind at all, because I turn on the heater and go do something else in the meantime. It's true that the reheat function doesn't keep the water at 100 °C, but rather around 90-95 °C - so then I just tap 100 °C and it's on.; ) When you buy it, I recommend boiling clean water and pouring it out several times (at least 4 times) before using it for the first time, according to the instructions. The inside had a bit of an "industrial" smell - nothing you'd want to drink. I find the quality of the stainless steel and the overall workmanship good to very good. The kettle beeps when the temperature is selected. The sound is quite pleasant - you can even turn it off. I'm using it with sound for now, at least I know it's done. For me, the ideal choice if you are looking for a design and water heating to a specific temperature with a temperature maintenance function. If design is not your thing, this might not be the kettle for you - you'll find models with faster heating and larger capacity in this price range. For other tea lovers I can recommend - a nice teapot for your table collection.
