When switching from the Sony WF-1000XM3 to the first version of QC Earbuds it was a marked difference, the headphones held well in the ears, ANC was significantly better, better sound presentation. Now when switching to the second version it doesn't have that WOW effect. Compared to the first generation I appreciate that they are smaller, ANC is better. but then again the case has lost wireless charging, the battery level of the case would need a fortune teller (if a person doesn't get enough it's somewhere between 30-90%). The quiet constant noise didn't grab me either. It's a kind of careful evolution. I don't regret the purchase, but from the price/performance ratio I guess the previous version at the sale price makes more sense.

Unfortunately, only the Anc and the sound do not compensate for the other problems the headphones have. The biggest problem is the app, without which the headphones are unusable. I like the bose brand but this is a complete disgrace, they shouldn't have released this on the market without tweaking at all, the headphones don't even hold up great in the ears due to the Anc falling out. Another sound problem when making phone calls = can't use in noisier environments the other party can't hear you. All you need is a stronger wind outside, unfortunately they are terribly overpriced for what they offer. Definitely not recommended for the money. They should cost max half then the price would match the quality.

So not a glitch, but obviously a "feature". I note that the firmware is up-to-date, the test for fitting the headphones in the ears is OK. I'm having a hard time with this with headphones for about 7k, so I'm waiting for some fw update to see if it gets better.
