Finally the sound I needed from headphones. I had a 6 year old M40x where the leather completely peeled off the extensions, so I was looking for an alternative. Bought M50x, DT 700 Pro X, but had to return both due to unnatural frequency response for me. I'm most satisfied with the DT 770 Pro so far, compared to the M40x it has more pronounced bass and a little bit more bass (I'd appreciate it if the highs were a bit more pronounced, but I've had them for a while so it's just a matter of habit for now). For the price, it's definitely worth it. 80 Ohm was a happy medium for me when I don't have an external sound system.

(I am not an expert on sound or headphones) Subjectively, the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm have a clear sound for me (better headphones are probably unnecessary for me). In collaboration with DragonFly red, the bass is not always sufficient for me especially at lower volumes or older recordings. With the Qudelix-5K Bluetooth DAC AMP, the sound is complete for me, including the ability to adjust the low frequencies according to the type of song. It may be worth considering whether to buy for a roughly similar total price then the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones where there is also an ambient noise cancellation system (although in the reviews of experts I think the 1000XM4 are not rated as well as these cheaper DT 770 and these Bayerdynamic headphones probably also due to their design I think and last longer).

Replacement for my 9 year old HyperX, which were already disgustingly worn out but still giving full performance.
