WARNING, ASUS WILL NOT RECOGNIZE THE ERROR WHEN THE BOARD FAILS It worked for two months, forgot how to turn on the computer from one day to the next, and for every boot I would have to reset the bios memory (quite impractical) to get into the bios and manually select the disk I want to boot from, even if it is already selected as bootable. Resolved by the first complaint where the service acknowledged the defect and replaced the unspecified component. It came back, I rebuilt my computer on it and same problem. (boot disk selected, windows functional, to start I have to physically reset the bios memory and force it to boot). Sent for a second complaint, when the service updated the bios and tested the board. It came back, I rebuilt the computer and still the same problem. Sent to third claim with the same problem, claim was rejected, board supposedly works as it should. When I make complaints, my computer runs on my old motherboard, which is no problem. I rebuild the components on this board and there is a problem. It worked, it stopped, ASUS acknowledged twice that there was probably something wrong with it and rejected it a third time, probably to avoid having to refund the money I asked for. For those interested in how the glitch manifests itself: When you press the power button, the fans spin up and the monitor reports that it sees no input. I accidentally found out that if I get into the BIOS (physically short the board according to the manual to clear the CMOS and when I turn on the next time I get a screen warning me that something is wrong where there is an option to get into the BIOS by pressing a button) and through "Boot Override" I boot the system from the disk, everything works. After rebooting or shutting down, it doesn't boot and I have to reset the bios memory again.
It worked for two months, then stopped booting the system (complaint was accepted by ASUS service twice, the third rejected, supposedly works as it should)
