Simply, a new version of the card with enough performance for several years. Long. When you measure the case remember the bracket protrusion, I didn't do it I had to bend the case to fit the card in. For being the base model among the RTX 5070Ti, this version from ASUS is a good surprise. The card looks solidly made (it even has thermal pads between the PCB and the backplate - even at the 12pin connector: -D ). The cooler on factory settings is quiet, the coils don't squeak. The dual BIOS allows either operation around 66-67°C with slightly noisy cooling or beautifully quiet operation at around 70-72°C. Surprise is also the possibility of OC - i.e. shifting the power limit to 116% = about 350W. Unfortunately, the cooler is not enough for maximum OC (in my case +450MHz core, +3000 VRAM, TDP 116%) and even with performance BIOS temperatures climb over 75°C with relatively high noise (PC is on the table next to my head). But for a base TDP setting of 300W, it's a beautifully quiet card in Q mode.
