The gap between the bottom and top of the radiator is about 4mm. In the package there is an upper and lower thermal pad with a width of about 1mm and 0.5mm. For disc thicknesses above 2.9mm, the instructions recommend using only the top pad. With my disc about 3mm thick, the cooler could not be closed with both the top and bottom pads (not too surprisingly), using only the top pad, it still required so much force to close the cooler that I didn't dare to press it any harder - and even then I still wondered what the components on the underside of the disc that were in direct contact with the cooler body were doing. Fortunately, I didn't destroy my disk. Disassembly is not possible without a sufficiently fine screwdriver and cannot be done without damaging the radiator. The solution is probably to buy a thinner pad for the top of the cooler, but it is more expensive than the cooler itself. Since the cooler is scratched, it can't even be returned and I'll have to throw it away.
Cheap, with well "tuned" pads probably works well.
The thickness of the disc is very important.
It can't be disassembled without damage, so if it doesn't fit, you won't return it.

Cooler is great for me, you need to experiment a bit with thermal pads before you find which one fits just right. The installation can be more difficult and the risk of cutting yourself on sharp edges but the cooler works and for the price is unbeatable.
