Transition from R5 3600 (Aorus x570 elite, rx6600 xt, 4x8gb (32GB) Patriot Viper Gaming XMP 3600 Mhz, 4 TB nVma... power supply Seasonic GX 850 Gold 85+ Just after replacing the cpu for a while quiet. However, after installing the current drivers of the chipset and a thorough Bios setup (PBO, Smart Access Memory, XMP, etc...), the noise is outrageous! All CPU benchmarks tests an absolute massacre! Cinebench R23 - 22346 pts. I recommend to play around with the settings, tweak Drivers, BIOS and don't lose performance. I also recommend a quality CPU cooler. I used Arctic Cooler 34 eSports Duo Red. At maximum load of all cores rendering in Cinebench temperature did not exceed 88 degrees, therefore absolutely stable. With Virtualization enabled in the GameLoop Android emulator you can play COD: Mobile at 120fps at maximum ultra details - which says it all. I always test the CPU performance on Cinebench R35 and Emulators which load the CPU the most. Temperature at rest 29-34 degrees, when I do normal admin (web, youtube just don't play games) temperatures around 54 degrees. Max one core temperature 71 degrees and stable. Blender and Cinebech multi core about 78-88 degrees stable. Take into account that the CPU rapidly increases and decreases temperatures and the COOLER has something to do. But okay. For me, the performance was outrageous, brutal, mega carnage. I'm glad I didn't buy the planned R7 5800X3D. Performance almost comparable thanks to high L3 Cash 64 MB! In tests, fps differences of 3-5 fps. Naooak from Ryzen 3D, the R9 5900X is versatile and suitable for video editing, rendering and heavy production. The 3D versions are for gaming only and lag behind performance in content creation applications. I'm really happy. The money was worth it and I recommend this CPU (but I don't know how it behaves on other boards with different memories etc. )
Performance, performance and performance again!

Universal use (Games, Creation, Editing, Rendering, Emulation)
Really unnecessary to invest in a more expensive CPU. This CPU has power to spare

Performance - reviving the AM4 platform, the CPU is really fast.
Unfortunately, it heats a lot under load and has no problem asking for more than 200W. I had to change the cooler (it was Fera 3, I had it on R5 3600) so I chose Scythe fuma 3 (I would rather go for Noctua NH-D15 - it didn't fit in my case). I don't know about AIO - I stuck to the motto that a good quality air cooler is better. In the BIOS I have everything on auto and PBO on, where I just turned PBO on, adjusted the "curve optimizer" curve to 30 negative. So in CB R23 it delivers around 22.700 points in multicore, but stays at 90°C at full load. Incidentally, this may be due to the case used and the location of the PC. Someone might be able to keep it cooler.
If you only want to play games, the R7 5800X3D will be a better choice, but you can only get those in stock.

Perfect processor for the price. In Cinebench R23, in multicore mode, when all cores are loaded and the processor runs at 100% for 10 minutes, the processor at least warmed up (with a cooler for 700 CZK). I had a R 3700X before and the difference in the response of applications is visible. Just to have as many applications or games as possible that could use multiple cores.
