Perfectly sufficient CPU. I had a compatibility problem - it seems that a lot of motherboards with B550 chipset and AM4 socket for AMD processors have older BIOS, which does not support this 5th generation processor by default and requires BIOS upgrade. But you can't do that without an older CPU, plus it's pretty much a no-brainer to fit an older CPU, do the upgrade, remove the older CPU, then fit this Ryzen and pray that the build works. Works with GIGABYTE B550M AORUS ELITE (revision 1.3) right out of the box.
