I've had an Apple Watch for a few years now, but I don't like it for sleeping, so I've been looking for an alternative. This ring is definitely better for sleeping, it monitors body activities (heart rate, temperature, breathing. ) perhaps every minute - but unfortunately this means that it shines all night long and quite a lot: -) - It doesn't calculate steps correctly, and since there is no way to start a sport activity, the "Efforts" tab is empty for me. So I'm not sure if Readiness is working properly, because you can't even add any activity from AW to the app, so it only counts from what the ring itself gets. And for example, my watch shows 10K steps, my ring shows only 6-7K steps. But otherwise, it links nicely into the Health app, so then I can see a complete assessment in Health - physical, mental, sleep: -)) - What I was looking forward to is to monitor my skin temperature to see if I can detect any germs, but luckily that hasn't been tested yet. - It's not very nice when it's wet, so I take it off for cooking and hand washing = I often forget it at the sink. - It's pretty big, but after one day and night I got used to it. However, it is not very "girly" and I find it unpleasant in company - it draws too much attention and I feel like I stole my husband's wedding ring and wear it on my index finger: -) so I'm thinking to start wearing it only at night and leave it by the bed during the day. All in all, I'm glad I didn't buy the Ultrahuman I wanted before because I think I would have ended up wearing it only at night too. I don't appreciate the health and activity monitoring from the ring as much because of the smart watch, maybe if I didn't have a watch I would appreciate the results from the ring more. The Amazfit cost me 3,790 CZK in BF, so I don't regret it, but if it was for that ten like the competition, I would consider returning it if it's really worth the sleep monitor: -)
