I was a little concerned about placing the phone holder in the ventilation grille, but I figured "since so many people do it". and I have no problem with it!
The holder looks massive and honest. But I definitely recommend checking with a tape measure in hand the intended place of use in the interior of the car. Thanks to the "full back" of the holder, I don't have to worry about the phone overheating from the car heater.
Even with its affordable price, this holder is a good first choice. You may find that such a base suits you perfectly, just as it suits me..: -)
