The part that is mounted on the table top is not as robust as it looks and it is quite easy to deform it a little higher, even by inadvertently tightening the screws.
I have a bent monitor mounted on the mount: 49" Samsung Odyssey G9, the monitor itself without the monitor stand weighs 8.8 kg and for the holder it is really on the edge of what is written about curved monitors. The indicated 14 Kg with a bent monitor is nonsense, or it can only work if the monitor does not bend so much, I already had to tighten the screw of the monitor' s tilt joint almost to the limit to keep the angle. In addition to this joint, the holder with approx. 9 kg can handle it easily.

According to the specification, the Samsung CRG9 49" monitor is supposed to carry with a large margin (11.6 kg monitor weight vs. 18 kg specified shoulder load capacity). After assembly, I found that the height spring has no problem with this, but the weak link is the joint that adjusts the vertical angle of the monitor -- it is not able to keep the monitor upright. It turned out that this joint has no spring, it holds purely by friction -- and even with the maximum tightening that we two people were capable of, it would not hold the monitor. I had to take the arm apart and return it. The specified load capacity of 18kg is simply not true -- 11.6kg was already too much.

No need for your own tools - everything is included in the package. I have a 38" curved monitor weighing 7 kg on the bracket. Since the holder has a stated load capacity of 15 kg, I have a generous reserve. The installation of the monitor on the mount is very simple. Simply assemble and secure the bracket to the desk, then screw the VESA plate to the monitor, then slide the monitor into the bracket and secure with the latch. I'm done. Then comes the stiffness adjustment and here I struggled a bit as I had to screw a lot before the monitor stayed in the set position and didn't keep falling to the lowest position. In the end, however, it succeeded. Only I don't have stretched cables because the length would not work out - in time it can be solved by buying longer cables. For me personally I can recommend the holder. I'll see how the life of the gas spring goes.
