I bought this as a replacement for a moka pot that I had been using sporadically due to the length of preparation, quite a mess, but also the coffee being a bit too strong for me (although tasty). It's a good thing it broke. Aeropress is super fast, simple, virtually dirt-free. I leave the coffee to steep as long as I want, it is completely clean. The sediment bud with the filter simply "squeezes" out, a quick rinse with a little water and you're done. In the instructions from the manufacturer they show how the resulting coffee has foam etc. I think that's fake. I've brewed instant coffee up until now, so I'm definitely not familiar with it. I had expectations of "it will be like espresso". I guess it's not like that again (or I can't do it yet). I like the coffee very much, although I expected "a little more". But I'm happy.
