In a bright room for daytime viewing, I think this is a better choice than OLED. In the evening, dark scenes are ok and I don't see a class difference compared to OLED. For the price, great.

I was replacing a 10 year old Samsung UE55H7000, against which progress can be seen and heard. I was looking for a solid QLED, not OLED, with Google TV rather than other systems. The manufacturer TCL was very pleasantly surprised. It was a bit of a struggle tweaking the HDMI connection to the soundbar and other devices, in the end the best choice was to connect everything to the TV and not the soundbar. The sound transfer from the TV via HDMI-ARC works great, I don't use the soundbar often, the TV has solid sound on its own, I turn on the mutual control via HDMI-CEC in the TV's quick setup as needed, which is not complicated.
