I was switching from a TN panel with 1366x768 resolution to FHD, after returning the VA panel I figured nothing could be worse so I went to IPS. My expectations were very low, I was afraid that there would be light bleeding, or other problems with the light, or that there would be dead pixels, but it was a nice surprise. Light bleeding is almost absent, it can only be seen in a dark image on the whole screen and I still have to look for it, then ghosting, unfortunately there is but it is not at all pronounced. Unless I'm specifically focusing on motion blur in darker scenarios so on the light ones it's probably not at all, I think even on those FPS games it's possible. Also freesync and g-sync, this is about the only monitor in this price range that has g-sync: D. So if you're looking for a monitor for gaming, work or watching movies, this monitor is sufficient in contrast and everything it offers and if you don't look for these aforementioned shortcomings you probably won't even notice them. (I also recommend to turn the overdrive settings to normal)

Speakers (though no miracle)
4 buttons (+1 to turn on the monitor) to the menu instead of one "joystick" on the back
subtle ghosting, but more in the darker scenes and you have to concentrate to see it

A good monitor in what matters: image. Everything else is no good.
Good colours, decent backlight uniformity, good looking contrast for an IPS, great response and Overdrive implementation
Headphone output
The base stand is almost well high
Reasonable luminance can be set even at night, although this needs to be helped via user colour settings
I have a good feeling about the sound that comes out of it into the headphones

A white diode in the face that needs to be taped over
Not much of a stand which is spiky and sticks out. It's soft and makes it harder to press the buttons. The hole for the cables is not even rubberized or anything and slides, so it basically does not perform the function of not pulling the cables with its weight.
Not much OSD menu (e.g. without the possibility of quick adjustment of the backlight), the manual is almost useless, the MBR does not work properly and so the monitor might not offer the function at all.
I don't much like the modern "antiglare layer". The colors look a bit metallic with it and generally weird on large areas with the same color.
