Payment Options

There are many ways to pay for your purchases on Alza.de. Choose the one that suits you best.

Most common payment methods

Card payment
online

Pay with a card that supports online payments. The transaction is encrypted and secure. To pay online, the card must be issued within the EU.

When entering your card details, you can choose whether to save the card with our payment provider. If you save the card, you won’t need to re-enter your payment details for future purchases.

If you pay with a business credit card, a non-refundable fee will be charged, which corresponds to the direct costs Alza incurs for processing such payments. The exact fee will be displayed after selecting the payment method and before completing the purchase. To avoid fees, use a consumer credit card or another payment method.

You can manage your card settings at any time in your account, including removing or adding payment cards.

You can use one of the alternative payment options.

Apple Pay

Apple Pay offers a simple, secure, and private way to pay with your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac, without the need for a physical card or cash. Simply store a virtual payment card on the device you wish to use for payments.

Google Pay

Google Pay is a service that provides a simple and fast way to make contactless payments, just like using a regular credit card. To use this payment method, you need to have a payment card saved in the Google Store app, your Google account, or in Chrome.

PayPal

PayPal is an electronic payment system with online accounts, functioning similarly to bank accounts. Transactions are always processed immediately. PayPal connects you with millions of online stores worldwide and is often referred to as the internet bank for everyone.

Bitcoin

Pay even faster with cryptocurrencies. At the end of the order, you will be redirected to a secure payment gateway to complete your order. The pay-as-you-go process is completed within minutes. If you need to return the goods, the purchase price will be refunded in Euros, as stated on the invoice. The purchase price cannot be refunded in cryptocurrency.

Klarna

Pay now

Easy: Convenient payment using your trusted online banking details. No additional account (wallet) or registration required.

Fast: Direct and binding payment. Thanks to transaction confirmation, your order can be shipped faster than with prepayment.

Secure: High security through a multi-step authentication process. The TAN is used only once. Your confidential login details and confirmation codes are not stored.

Pay later

The principle is simple: You pay the invoice directly to Klarna—nothing to Alza. From the invoice date, you have 30 days to settle your bill. You only pay after receiving your order. Shop with ease, complete your purchase, and inspect the products comfortably at home.

Gift Cards

You can also pay using physical or electronic gift vouchers purchased from Alza.at. To redeem a gift voucher, enter the discount code during checkout.

Gift card terms & conditions:

The gift card value will be deducted from your order total on www.alza.at verrechnet.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded. They can only be used for a single purchase.
For items purchased with a gift voucher, you can receive a refund in the form of a replacement voucher or a corresponding credit for the purchase of other items (in case of withdrawal from the purchase contract or a justified claim).
Gift cards are valid for five years from the date of purchase. After this period, they expire.
Purchasing a gift card means you accept the usage terms.
The purchase of goods using a gift card is subject to Alza.cz a.s. terms and conditions.
Lost gift cards cannot be replaced.

If you receive a gift voucher from Alza, the instructions for use are the same. The terms and conditions are outlined in the general terms and conditions for the promotion.

Anyone who prefers a pro forma invoice is asked to make the transaction in this format to our account at Citibank. Typically, the transfer takes three days.

Refunds - Most common payment methods

If you cancel the contract within the statutory 14-day period as part of the complaint process, or if we need to refund your money for another reason, we will refund the amount you paid in the same way you made the payment. Examples are listed below.

Card/transfer

If you paid with a credit card, we will refund the amount to your credit card account.

If you paid via bank transfer, we will return the money to your bank account. Typically, the refund takes three days.

We only refund the amount we received from you (we do not cover any bank fees associated with the transfer, etc.).

Cryptocurrency

If you paid for goods with cryptocurrency (e.g., Bitcoins or Litecoins), you will receive a refund in the currency listed on the invoice for those items (usually in Euros), and solely in the amount specified on the invoice.

In this case, the refund will be credited to your Alza balance.

Refunds - Alternative payment methods

If you paid using other methods (e.g., bank transfer, PayPal, etc.), we will refund the amount in the same way you paid for the goods.
