The strengths of this camera are the excellent mechanical design, probably the best I have encountered: the metal cabinet, the solar panel with metal frame and the metal connection between the cabinet and the panel, even the threads for fixing the support structure are deeper than in other products and of course metal. Everything is holding, just beautiful. The picture is clear, the recording on the SD card works flawlessly and its formatting. The connection to the mobile network is established reliably, it is also good in the building. But at least the delivered piece cannot be reasonably used anyway due to inadequate motion detection. Either I turn it on, which is done using the radar item in the app (which is not in the documentation, by the way), and then the camera triggers an alarm every 40 seconds or so and gradually drains the battery. Or I turn off detection, but then the camera only records when the connection to the app is active and the user is viewing the image, that's not the purpose. The detection sensitivity cannot be controlled, this is probably the biggest disadvantage. When it is on, the alarm is triggered even if someone walks behind the camera, but there is no shadow movement on the recording. So I am returning the product, although I would quite like to keep this particular version. I'll try to contact the distributor to see if it might be a defective piece. But solar cameras (overwhelmingly made in China) are generally pretty unreliable and many have a high complaint rate. Škoda.
