It isn't the most ideal with an Omen 27k, but if you can get it to hold onto the bezel/frame of the body of the monitor, it works quite well. I think this product needs a refresh to increase compatibility with these kinds of non-flat-backed displays.
Lights up the desk work area well, without adding glare on the display itself.
Magnets make it very easy to set up, disassemble and adjust.
It isn't friendly to monitors that don't have flat backs. With a HP Omen 27k, the intended position of the light bar applies noticeable pressure to the panel. Attempting to distribute the weight to the back can help, but then it sits too low, obscuring content and adding glare onto the panel. I found a way to have it sit just barely on the bezel, likely unintended.
This particular version doesn't support controlling it from Mi Home. There's another version of it, but it might only exist in China. It's unclear when you see reviews potentially having that version.
Adjusting the brightness with the included knob feels weird. Sometimes, it doesn't register my actions, skips some steps, or has a long delay. Holding it down and rotating it causes a feeling of friction, which gets worse over time.
The included cable is only long enough for KVM USB ports on the same monitor. Those KVM ports are normally occupied by a keyboard and mouse.
