I switched to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra from another brand and from a relatively older phone. So I was a little worried about navigating it, installations, etc. However, I have to admit that although I sometimes searched for some items and got familiar with some of them, in the end almost everything was quite intuitive and understandable. On the mobile itself - very fast, great display and good ergonomics. I was worried about the protruding camera, but it's an advantage. When you hold it, your fingers rest on it, so the phone is easier to hold and your fingers don't get in front of the lens. As for the camera, it left me in awe. Perfect photos and an incredibly perfect zoom/telephoto lens. Even at really long distances, the images are unblurred, sharp, and colourful. I haven't tried everything in it yet, but I was impressed by the introduction.

The transition from the Xiaomi 11T Pro is very noticeable to me. I also had the Xiaomi 15 Ultra to try out and I can say that if you're switching from this generation, the transition is worthwhile and not that significant. It is only worthwhile if you are shooting 4k 60fps video that is longer than 15-20 minutes. Xiaomi 17 Ultra's cooling is on a whole other level and keeps the phone cooler for much longer, even after an hour it doesn't drop fps. The third-party camera app is a little worse, but the result in terms of photo and video quality is obviously still better. It's a shame that for such an expensive flagship, the default camera app doesn't allow for options such as the Black Magic Camera.
