I'm switching from the Redmi Note 8 Pro, so the differences are quite noticeable - especially in terms of camera quality, sunlight readability and smoothness. I was pleasantly surprised that the phone is lightweight (for how rugged it is). My only criticism at the moment is that the cover does not protect the photoconstruction area sufficiently in my opinion.
display beautifully legible even in direct light
camera
lighter than I expected
the cover does not sufficiently protect the photoconstruction

I have a Xiaomi for several years now and the 17 ultra is absolutely amazing. I found it a little harder than I expected at first, but it just took me a while to get used to it.

The phone with gifts provides amazing value, in my opinion it is perfect in every aspect except the software where xiaomi has been very lame since hyperOS. It's not the worst on the market, but it has a lot to improve and add back options from the MiUI days.
HyperRGB display gives each pixel all 3 lights
Cameras
Speakers sound good even between flags
Beautiful and practical design
Fast charging
Cannot switch to combined pull down menu for notifications and control panel
Cannot hide gesture bar
6000 mAh versus CN version with 6800

I bought it as a replacement for the Xiaomi 13T and it met my expectations. The reason for the purchase was mainly the phone cameras and photography kit as a gift after registration. I was a little afraid of the green color, but surprisingly I ended up liking it. The whole phone is really snappy. Unimportant to some, but I wanted a phone with an infrared port.
Agile environment
Excellent main and telephoto photography
Infraport
No charger (not the manufacturer's fault)

This phone is cheaper than some of it competitors at this price point compared to what they offer. The camera takes gorgeous pictures and they were not lying about it being the "master of night" phone. It charges so fast with a 90W fast charging adapter. It is a big upgrade from my previous phone (samsung S22+).
