If you're at least somewhat capable of working with apps on your phone, you can set up wifi on connected devices and create a new account in the app, it's a matter of moments. The basic settings are fully sufficient, and there are lots of other options in the app for how you want to monitor the area, including notification settings. I was pleasantly surprised by the evening infrared footage too. In terms of price/performance ratio, it is a very good choice. Don't forget to buy a MicroSD card suitable for 2K video recording.

I think the Tapo cameras have been generally successful and many of them are already serving me reliably. Moreover, the range is constantly expanding and that's good. Lots of smart stuff in one Tapo app. That's a good move for me.
