I purchased this model through the "Still New Laptop" service because I wasn't sure which Surface configuration would suit me and was afraid to invest in buying it outright. I have the computer as a secondary device to a roughly three year old 15 inch laptop with i7, 16GB ram and SSD from Dell, main use for graphics work. But even with a lower configuration, I find the performance comparable, even when working on quite large graphics files in Photoshop and inDesign. I worked exclusively on it for about 14 days and managed to complete two large jobs on it without any technical problems. Of course sometimes you miss the larger display, but that's the trade-off for the small size and super weight.

The display is amazing - and it's the main reason I chose Surface over Acer's otherwise nearly identical and cheaper hybrid.

I rarely use the stylus when working in Photoshop (cropping), but maybe that will come.

The size and weight are great for working on the go, when you want to keep your computer with you all day and occasionally work here and there in a coffee shop or at a conference.

Because of the display, I also recommend it to photographers (for more speed in Lightroom, I would choose the 16RAM variant and maybe the i7, but this model can handle it too).

Nothing. perhaps only that no 13-inch computer is offered with a numeric keypad even at the price of smaller keys (we ladies wouldn't mind)
