We have a grinder for both salt (it can handle Himalayan salt) and pepper. In the kitchen, we use it every day, both to flavour the food on the table and for regular rubbing when we need to salt or pepper something. But it's definitely not for salting water for potatoes or dumplings, that would probably take a long time. But that's the only one where we don't use it and we have the classic salt with a spoon, that's what we had with the mince before. We can definitely recommend it.
