Even when setting the carpet nozzle, i.e. maximum "shortening" of the brushes for hard floors, the brushes still protrude and therefore scrub the carpet, so that it is practically impossible to vacuum the carpet with it. As mentioned in another review, the nozzle is completely different than the one pictured here.
