As a toy for a 3-year-old child, this camera is quite good. It has quite good mechanical durability and the child holds it well (the included tripod helps a lot in holding it). Children will play with different modes of photography (overlays over photos and the like). The battery life is just right for a day's play. The games are simple enough for the child to play and after a while he stopped enjoying it, so it doesn't matter so much. However, if you have an older child and you want to buy him at least a usable camera, you will be very disappointed. The camera shoots at a moderate price, i.e. with poor dynamic range, colours and resolution. With its price it is somehow to be reckoned with, but the information claiming that the camera has a resolution of 8MPx is unfortunately false. In fact, all photos and videos are taken in the camera display resolution, i.e. 320x240! Even if you choose 8MPx mode. The last photo is only a simple upscaling (program upscaled - 1 pixel is stretched over about 10 x 10 pixels). It has the same resolution, but with the difference that it takes up more space on the card (standard marketing trick of cheap Chinese cameras). So it is not worth setting any other mode than 2MPx. For comparison I have attached an 8MPx photo, including zoom on details. Let everyone draw their own conclusion; -)

Overall, the camera looks good, has a beautiful design, easy to use and kids will have a lot of fun with it. For me, it's a great choice as a first camera for young photographers who love to explore the world around them.
