This one is worthy of the 3rd millennium. Good to hold, excellent design.
on 2x AA - this suits me, the consumption of the camera is neither big nor small.
Tl. The ON/Off is below the surface level, so it won't turn itself on in the pocket.
It has the best user control (of course intuitive - even setting parameters) I have ever seen out of about 20-30 digital cameras. The photos are nice, videos too, you can also shoot documents.
It has a tripod thread, a "quick" button for filming (with sound)
They call ones like this "simple". I call them perfectly adequate for normal very high quality photography and video shooting, not by a professional (art) photographer.
has SW for easy and fast conversion from. mov to. avi
creates videos in. mov, i.e. some SW players may have problems with (audio) playback (e.g. VLC). I can play Windows Media Player in Win 8 64bit without a problem.
video playback on the camera is without sound -no speaker
