One of the reasons I chose the headphones was the advertised volume limitation. It's just not done the way you'd expect it to be - you set it up with the app, it's stored in the headset, and then it works anywhere, anytime. No, you need to have the app installed on a specific mobile device in a specific user profile, preferably with a PIN, for the volume limit to work, and only there does it work. If you connect the headset elsewhere, or under a different user profile (e.g. on the tablet), you have to install and set it up again. If you have 2 phones and a tablet at home with 3 user profiles, that's 5 app installs and settings. Pretty big hassle. And of course, if you wanted to connect it somewhere on a visit or somewhere else where you don't have access to the system, you wouldn't set any restrictions at all. I don't like it. At the same time, Android already has a volume limiter in itself (at least Samsung's, but I guess in general), so the app is useless in itself. The second thing that annoys me is that the child will of course put the headphones away, but often does not turn them off. And you have no way of knowing if they're on or off - the mini-diode could be on while running, but it's not, so there's just no way of knowing. And if you just leave them lying around, they'll keep going as long as they have a BT connection, even if nothing is playing. Unless you install the app (to all profiles and devices), and it should turn it off automatically even when connected and just not playing anything (after 30 minutes at the earliest). In real life, you have to put it on your ears (which is hard for an adult, of course), hold the off button, and listen for the "power on" or "power off" sound, and if it just turned on, turn it off again. For God's sake, why can't the LED be on while it's running?
