For less than half the price, it can do 90% of what more expensive models, like the iPad Pro
Unless you're a pro video editing or gaming professional, the speed won't limit you
The display is perfectly fine too, until you put it next to a better one you don't see a major difference
Larger bezels, speakers only on one side, lightning instead of USB-C, no tap to wake, lower performance, etc. you can have all this but for an extra 12k, which is not worth it for most normal users

I made the right choice, I'm satisfied. I got it primarily for sorting photos and simple photo editing in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for iPad. It works great, I'm happy. Of course it could be a bit faster in Photoshop, but overall I'm happy. This regular model has wider bezels, the camera doesn't come out of the back - it's beautifully flat. The only huge blemish is the lack of USB-C.
Lightning port - a shame for Apple, having to buy an expensive USB-A reducer for it, which must have its own power supply. But I didn't want to wait many years before Apple started using normal ports.
