The milk system is well designed, easy to maintain and everything goes in the dishwasher.
They make good coffee.
Not all parts go in the dishwasher (surprisingly, the drip tray, the lye container).

I bought the coffee maker six months ago and so far it is without a single problem. It works great and is easy to understand for absolutely everyone thanks to the very simplified front panel coffee drink icons. The coffee already in the basic setting of the grinder and coffee intensities from the whirlpool is absolutely magnificent, we have not had to experiment yet, otherwise the coffee intensity is in three levels. Already the weakest is a very good coffee, the middle is a pleasantly strong coffee and the highest level we do not even use, it is strong enough for regular drinking. For those who like to experiment with coffee coarseness and intensity, it is possible to further adjust the coffee in the settings on the control panel and on the grinder. Apart from that, the coffee machine is very well made and looks great, it is quiet in operation. The milk frother is great and the milk foam is excellent, it is very easy to disassemble and clean, I have found it useful to clean two or three times a week, according to the instructions (it takes about 5 minutes of time) if you clean less it is immediately noticeable on the quality of the foam! As for the actual protection against operator errors, I can only praise again, everything is controlled and the coffee machine will not allow you to make any mistake and damage it. What you need appears on the panel with clear icons and the instructions are also simple and easy to understand. As far as the price of operation is concerned, it requires a filter to soften the water once every two months (you do not have to keep an eye on it, it logs itself, price 300Kč), in action about 250Kč. Furthermore, once every 1.5 - 2 months it requires descaling, (again it will let itself know on the control panel) I buy the original pack for five descaling, then the price for one is 70Kč. (package price 360Kč. ) From then on you only pay for the coffee and I agree with other reviews here that indeed coffee consumption goes up noticeably, but you won't mind!

After 4 months the milk frother stopped working. Sent for complaint. Repaired and returned the appliance completely broken, dented display, broken plastic parts, side parts loose - TOTALLY UNUSABLE! We are sending it in for complaint again and hope that Alza and DeLonghi will face up to this and refund or replace it with a brand new machine.
